Invasion

Oil sticks on Arches coverstock. Framed it inside the top of an old door. I haven't seen this in years, it was made as a housewarming/ wedding gift for a good friend. My favorite bit is the cows being picked up by the UFOs. Here is the rough sketch that was used as inspiration.

doodle

I recently read about the Harmony - Procedural drawing tool on Drawn! and had to give it a try. Drawn! is just about one of the best sites on the web, if you've never been there, it's a drawing and illustration blog full of some of the most talented people around.

Working Drawing

I am beginning to color this in photoshop and thought I would try and document the process as it goes along.

Now the fun part starts. Photoshop in alot of ways is still a mystery, but I manage to get the results somehow. The sky has turned out better than I could have hoped for.
I am trying to bring some more life to the faces. 2/2/06

Spiders

My 3 year old son and I painted these this week. He loves spiders especially the mushed variety. He asked for spiders tells me what color they should be, slaps some paint down, walks away and lets me finish them. I love working with him he's decisive.
